Slaughter and Robert L. Nipper. Also in attendance were Mike Maier, County Administrator; Lt. Greg Brown, Sheriff's Department; Dennis Maloney, Corrections Director; Rick Isham, County Counsel; Bruce Abernethy, Commission on Children & Families; Kevin Harrison, Planner; Sue Stoneman, Public Relations Specialist; and Bruce White, Assistant County Counsel. 1. Dennis Maloney discussed the reasons for the name change of the Community Corrections Department to Community Justice Center. Senator Neil Bryant, Cal Krosch, Bruce Abernethy, and Deb Brockman spoke in support of this name change.
