A Resolution Declaring the

Intention of Deschutes County
to Exchange Real Property and
Personal Property with Anne
E. Hanson, Setting a Time and
Place for Hearing Objections
Thereto and Providing Notice.
RESOLUTION NO. 96-140
WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 provides that the Board of County Commissioners declare
its intention to exchange real property and personal property by proper resolution; and
WHEREAS, a hearing shall be held for the purpose of receiving objections to the
proposed exchange of real property and personal property; and
WHEREAS, Deschutes County intends to exchange real property and personal
property with Anne E. Hanson; and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. The real property to be transferred by Anne E. Hanson is described as
follows:
A parcel of land containing 3,966 square feet (0.091 Acres), more or less,
located in a portion of Section 17, Township 17 South, Range 12 East,
Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon, being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point which bears North 44°03'48" West a distance of 1878.35
feet from a 2" brass cap marking the southeast corner of said Section 17; thence

around a 1050.00 foot radius curve left 107.35 feet (chord bears North 01'51'31"
West, 107.30 feet); thence North 04°47'15" West a distance of 217.58 feet;
thence North 65°55'52" East a distance of 30.59 feet; thence South 01° 04'14"
West a distance of 336.60 feet to the "Point of Beginning," the terminus of this
description.
SUBJECT TO: All easements, restrictions and rights-of-way of record and those
common and apparent on the land.
The personal property to be transferred by Deschutes County is described as follows:
The residential structure currently located at 20309 Hardy Road, Bend, Oregon,
described as a 1,498 square foot wood frame residence that is constructed to
include a 6 -room floor plan including three bedrooms and two and one-half
baths.
Anne E. Hanson would be responsible for removing said structure from its
current site and relocated said structure to another site.
The real property to be transferred by Deschutes County is described as follows:
A parcel of land containing 2,842 square feet (0.065 Acres), more or less,
located in a portion of Section 17, Township 17 South, Range 12 East,
Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon, being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point which bears North 31°54'01" West a distance of 2488.36
feet from a 2" brass cap marking the southeast corner of said Section 17; thence
around a 1050.00 foot radius curve right 119.20 feet (chord bears south
02°08'45" West, 119.14 feet); thence South 05°23'53" West a distance of 100.00
feet; thence around a 1110.00 foot radius curve left 197.33 feet (chord bears
South 00°18'19" West 197.07 feet); thence South 04°47'15" East a distance of
23.14 feet; thence South 65°55'52" West a distance of 24.14 feet; thence North
04°27'53" East a distance of 449.95 feet to the "Point of Beginning," the terminus
of this description.
SUBJECT TO: All easements, restrictions and rights-of-way of record and those
common and apparent on the land.
Section 2. A hearing for the purpose of receiving objections to the above land trade will
be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 1996, in Hearings Room "A," of the
Deschutes County Juvenile Justice Building, Bend.

Section 3. That the Clerk of the County Court shall give notice of the time and place
for the hearing set in Section 2 of this Resolution by publication of the notice marked Exhibit
"A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in "The Bulletin" once each
week for four consecutive weeks prior to the date of such hearing.
