RESOLUTION NO. 97-012 WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 provides that the Board of County Commissioners shall declare its intention to exchange real property by proper resolution; and WHEREAS, a hearing shall be held for the purpose of receiving objections to the proposed exchange of contingent future interests in real property; and WHEREAS, Deschutes County, the Ray Johnson Post #44, American Legion, Department of Oregon, hereafter known as the American Legion, and the City of Redmond intend to conduct a three-way exchange of future contingent interest; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That Deschutes County intends to transfer to the American Legion a reversionary interest it holds on property situated in the City of Redmond, Deschutes County, State of Oregon, generally known as the Ray Johnson Post #44, American Legion Hall and generally described as: The North half (Nl/z) of Lot Ten (10), and all of Lots Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) in Block Sixty-seven (67) of the original townsite of the City of Redmond, according to the official plat thereof now on file in the office of the County Clerk, of Deschutes County, Oregon. As consideration for said transfer, the American Legion agrees to transfer to the City of Redmond a reversionary interest it holds on the real property situated in the City of Redmond, Deschutes County, State of Oregon, generally known as Ray Johnson Park and generally described as: 0'ri!-:f'E�J PAGE 1 OF 2 - RESOLUTION NO. 97-012 (1/29/97) � t, j. i', i.�7 P HED 01991 w 0156-1344 Blocks Five (5), Six (6), Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18) of Redmond Townsite Company's Second Addition to the City of Redmond, according to the official map and plat thereon filed in the office of the County Clerk of Deschutes County, Oregon. As consideration to Deschutes County for said transfer, the City of Redmond agrees to transfer to Deschutes County a reversionary interest in real property situated in Deschutes County, Oregon, which the City of Redmond will acquire as a replacement site for Ray Johnson Park. Said replacement site is to be acquired with the funds generated from the sale of the original Ray Johnson Park. Section 2. A hearing for the purpose of receiving objections to the above land trade will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 1997, in Hearings Room "A," of the Deschutes County Juvenile Justice Building, Bend. Section 3. That the Clerk of the County Court shall give notice of the time and place for the hearing set in Section 2 of this Resolution by publication of the notice marked Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in "The Bulletin" once each week for four consecutive weeks prior to the date of such hearing. Harriman, Bend, Oregon, the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, will hold a hearing on an exchange of interest in real property between Deschutes County, Ray Johnson Post #44, American Legion, Department of Oregon and the City of Redmond. Deschutes County intends to transfer to the American Legion a reversionary interest it holds on real property known as the Legion Hall and situated in the City of Redmond, Deschutes County, Oregon, generally described as: The North half (NI/2) of Lot Ten (10), and all of Lots Eleven (11) and Twelve (12) in Block Sixty-seven (67) of the original townsite of the City of Redmond, according to the official plat thereof now on file in the office of the County Clerk, of Deschutes County, Oregon.
