Nipper called the Board of County Commissioners meeting to order at 10: 00 a.m. County Commissioners present were: Robert L. Nipper and Linda L. Swearingen. Also in attendance were Mike Maier, County Administrator; Brad Chalfant, Property Manager; Tom Blust, Public Works Director; Heidi Kennedy, Planner; Sue Stoneman, Community Relations Specialist; and Dave Peterson, Information Services Director. CONVENE AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF 9-1-1 COUNTY SERVICE DISTRICT 1. APPROVAL OF WEEKLY ACCOUNTS PAYABLE VOUCHERS FOR THE 9-1-1 COUNTY SERVICE DISTRICT Before the Governing Body was approval of the weekly accounts payable vouchers for the 9-1-1 County Service District in the amount of $110.45. SWEARINGEN: So moved. NIPPER: Chair will second. VOTE: SCHLANGEN: EXCUSED NIPPER: YES SWEARINGEN: YES CONVENE AS THE GOVERNING BODY OF REDMOND LIBRARY COUNTY SERVICE DISTRICT 2. APPROVAL OF WEEKLY ACCOUNTS PAYABLE VOUCHERS FOR THE REDMOND LIBRARY COUNTY SERVICE DISTRICT Before the Governing Body was approval of the weekly accounts payable vouchers for the Redmond Library County Service District in the amount of $181.14. APPROVAL OF WEEKLY ACCOUNTS PAYABLE VOUCHERS FOR THE BEND LIBRARY COUNTY SERVICE DISTRICT Before the Governing Body was approval of the weekly accounts payable vouchers for Bend Library County Service District in the amount of $1,718.91. SIGNATURE OF PROCLAMATION PROCLAIMING THE WEEK OF APRIL 13-19 1997, TO BE DESCHUTES COUNTY CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS WEEK Before the Board was signature of a Proclamation proclaiming the week of April 13-19, 1997, to be Deschutes county Crime Victims' Rights Week. Patricia Moore reported this was Victims' Rights Week. SWEARINGEN: I move signature of Proclamation proclaiming the week of April 13-19 to Crime Victims' Rights Week. NIPPER: I'll second that. SIGNATURE OF REVISION #9 OF GRANT AGREEMENT WITH OREGON STATE HEALTH DIVISION Before the Board was signature of Revision #9 of a Grant Agreement with the Oregon State Health Division. Tom Blust reported these deeds were to clear up a right-of-way issue. This was a small piece of roadway that was about one quarter of mile long. VOTE: SCHLANGEN: EXCUSED NIPPER: YES SWEARINGEN: YES SIGNATURE OF LEASE RENEWAL FOR OFFICE SPACE WITH STATE OF OREGON DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES Before the Board was signature of a Lease renewal for office space with the State of Oregon Department of Water Resources. Brad reported this was a standard lease. The rate was $1.25 a square foot. He recommended approval for three years. Brad Chalfant reported this was a piece of property that was never dedicated as Marshall Avenue and access had been disputed for a number of years. Property Management had tried to settle with Mr. Schafer previously. Brad recommended signature of the settlement agreement.
