Wednesday, April 30, 1997
Chair Nancy Pope Schlangen called the Board of County Commissioners`
meeting to order at 10:02 a.m. County Commissioners present were
Nancy Pope Schlangen, Robert L. Nipper, and Linda L. Swearingen.
Also in attendance were Mike Maier, County Administrator; Roland
Gangstee, Adult Corrections Program Manager; Sue Stoneman,
Community Relations Specialist; Tom Blust, Public Works Director;
and George Kolb, Engineering Services Manager.

Market Road/Willard Road to the low bidder Bend Aggregate &
Paving; 2) signature of Grant Agreement with Oregon State
Health Division; 3) signature of Resolution No. 97-052,
adopting Deschutes County Community Justice Biennial Plan for
July 1, 1997 - June 30, 1999; 4) signature of Order No. 97-
056, declaring intent and authorizing the sale of real
property to Freeland; 5) signature of Final Plat for minor
partition MP -94-28, to divide a 38.57 -acre parcel into 3
parcels of 14.27 -acres, 10.42 -acres, and 11.72 -acres at 69625
Camp Polk Road, Sisters, for Richard & Sharon Mooney; 6)
signature of Mylar for Red Bar Estates, Phase 1, a 34 -lot
subdivision, located at 775 N.E. Negus Way, Redmond; 7)
appointment of Stan Owen to the Local Alcohol & Drug Planning
Committee; 8) signature of partition plat MP -96-47, a two Lot
partition located at 3500 N.W. Ivancovich Way, Redmond, for
Steve Kolar; 9) signature of final plat for Forest Green at
Eagle Crest II, Phase 2, for Eagle Crest; and 10) signature of

AMENDMENT TO TITLE 18, TO ADD FISHING LODGE AS A CONDITIONAL
USE IN THE MUA-10 ZONE AND SPECIFIC USE CRITERIA FOR A FISHING
LODGE UNDER SECTION 18.128.040
This public hearing was opened and continued to May 7, 1997,
at the 10:00 a.m. Board of Commissioners Meeting.
8. SIGNATURE OF PROCLAMATION PROCLAIMING MAY 1, 1997, AS
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON
Before the Board was signature of a Proclamation proclaiming
