ORDER NO. 97-101
WHEREAS, this matter having come before the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners at a
regularly scheduled public meeting on 'XX.%.'-;kLL-M'ja , Junes 1997, to consider the appointment of a tax collector
for Deschutes County; and mon d"y
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority granted to the Board of County Commissioners by the Oregon
legislature, the Board, after having given due consideration to the issue of appointing a tax collector; now,
therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ORDERS
as follows:
Section 1. It is hereby ordered that Martin Wynne, Deschutes County Finance Officer, is designated as
the tax collector for Deschutes County with all appropriate authority under ORS 311.055. This appointment
will be effective as of 12:01 a.m., July 1, 1997, and will continue until further orders are issued by the
Deschutes County Board of Commissioners concerning the appointment of a tax collector.
Section 2. Martin Wynne shall serve at the pleasure of the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners
for the purposes of serving as the Deschutes County Tax Collector. Such appointment may be withdrawn at any
time.
