BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON
An Order Authorizing the Sale of Commercial
Real Property by Private Sale to James G. Ivy
ORDER NO. 97-104
WHEREAS, ORS 271.510 and 271.530 authorizes Deschutes County to sell County land
zoned commercially by private sale; and
WHEREAS, Deschutes County owns certain commercially zoned real property described
in Exhibit "A," which is not needed by Deschutes County; and
WHEREAS, the real property described in Exhibit "A" has an appraised value of $6,007.40;
and
WHEREAS, James G. Ivy has requested that Deschutes County sell the real property
described by Exhibit "A" for $6,007.40; and therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, FINDS AND ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the real property described in Exhibit "A," is hereby determined to be
zoned commercially and is deemed surplus, with an appraised value of $6,007.40.
Section 2. That James G. Ivy pay $6,007.40.
Section 3. That upon review and approval of title by the Deschutes County Property
and Real Estate Manager, a Bargain & Sale Deed be prepared and executed conveying the
real property described in Exhibit "A" to James G. Ivy.
Section 4. That the Deschutes County Property and Real Estate Manager is herein
authorized to take those actions reasonably calculated to carry out this order.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
That portion of Lot 23, Block 19, LAIDL.AW, Deschutes County, Oregon,
described as follows: Beginning at a point on the South boundary of said Lot 23,
which point is located 14.28 feet West from the Southeast corner of said Lot;
thence East, 14.28 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot; thence North, 25
feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot; thence West, 37.24 feet along the North
boundary of said Lot 23 to a point; thence in a Southeasterly direction on a
curve to the right, said curve having a radius of 113.2 feet for a distance of 34.08
feet to the point of beginning.
AND ALSO that portion of Lot 24, Block 19, LAIDLAW, Deschutes County,
Oregon, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the South boundary of
said Lot, which point is located 37.24 feet West from the Southeast corner of
said Lot; thence East, 37.24 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot; thence
North, 25 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot; thence West, 100 feet to the
Northwest comer of said Lot; thence South, 0.3 feet; thence in a Southeasterly
direction on a curve to the right, the said curve having a radius of 113.2 feet for
a distance of 68.49 feet to the point of beginning.
