SWEARINGEN, tUtnmissioner -1 191 0102 interoffice M E M O R A N D U M To: Finance Department From: Deschutes County Library Administration - Connie Subject: Sunriver Request for Petty Cash Date: July 10, 1997 As per my phone conversation with Chris, 7-10-1997, I am requesting that a $20.00 petty cash fund for Sunriver be established. Mary Berrigan is the branch supervisor who will be responsible for the fund. She has appropriate forms for keeping a ledger etc. and a copy of the County's current petty cash policy. This fund will allow the Library to make small emergency purchases of office supplies and other odds and ends. As you know, Sunriver is quite distant from Bend and it is often difficult and timely to run to town for the smaller items than might be critical to the operation of the library i.e. a telephone cord or extra electrical plug. This request for $20 is based on established need of the LaPine and Sisters libraries which are of similar size to Sunriver.
