Nipper. Also in attendance were Tom Blust, Public Works Director; Al Driver, Solid Waste Director, George Goshert, Bend Library Construction Manager; Heidi Kennedy, Planner; Bob Cannon, County Counsel; Bruce White, Assistant County Counsel; Kevin Harrison, Planner; Frank Moore, Human Services Director; Brad Chalfant, Property Manager; Florence Torrigino, Health Department Director; Scott Johnson, Commission on Children & Families Director; Judy Sumner, Risk Management Secretary; Dave Leslie, Planner; Sue Stoneman, Public Relations Specialist; and Susan Mayea, Management Analyst. • •a Before the Board was a request for approval of out-of-state travel for Hillary Saraceno to attend the AMERICORP*VISTA training in Reno, Nevada, on June 24-26, 1997. NIPPER: I move approval of out-of-state travel for Hillary Saraceno. SCHLANGEN: I'll second the motion VOTE: SCHLANGEN: YES NIPPER: YES SWEARINGEN: EXCUSED Before the Board was signature of an Intergovernmental Agreement between Benton County, Deschutes County, Jefferson County and Lincoln County forming a four county Intergovernmental Entity known as the Accountable Behavioral Health Alliance. VOTE: SCHLANGEN: YES NIPPER: YES SWEARINGEN: EXCUSED APPROVAL OF SALE OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE LA PINE INDUSTRIAL PARK Before the Board was approval of the sale of property located in the La Pine Industrial Park. Susan Mayea reported there was an offer to purchase a piece of property in the La Pine Industrial Park. The purchase price was $12,500 for a one acre parcel. The buyer would put down 20%. The County would carry the contract in the amount of $10,000 for 5 years at 10% interest. NIPPER: I'll move authorization for purchase of property in the La Pine Industrial Park.
