Greenwood, Bend, Oregon 97701 General Information/TDD (541) 388-6601 FAX (541) 385-8033 We are or soon will be in receipt of several grants that will increase our revenue and expenditures in the Alcohol and Drug Program. The first grant comes from the State Office of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs and is identified as an Alcohol and Drug Prevention Mini -Grant. The amount of the grant is $24,458. All services under this grant will be subcontracted with the Central Oregon Family Resource Center. A contract for that expenditure has been developed and will go to the Board of Commissioners for their signatures in a few weeks. The second series of grants come from several sources which I will identify below. The grants are all to be used for the purpose of remodeling a facility in Redmond which is owned by Central Cascade Health Systems (CCHS) and which will be used as a detoxification/residential treatment center. CCHS is an LLC formed by Central Oregon District Hospital and St. Charles Medical Center for the sole purpose of purchasing this facility. The source and anticipated amounts of the grants for this project are as follows: State Office of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs $10,000 Deschutes United Way 2,000 Jeld-Wen Foundation 20,000 Total $32,000 A contract with Central Cascades Health Systems will need to be written to allocate these funds. The expenditure line for both projects is 45-22-2533. Please let me know if you are in need of any additional information on this matter.
