An Order Designating Certain Real
Property as a County Park to be Used
Exclusively for Public Purposes.

WHEREAS, Deschutes County has ownership of property located on Lafayette Street in
downtown Bend, Oregon; and
WHEREAS, Deschutes County desires to develop a public park on this property; and
WHEREAS, ORS 275.320 provides that Deschutes County may designate County owned
lands as public parks; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that the preservation and protection
of certain County owned real properties for public access and recreation is in the public interest;
now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON,
ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That certain real property described as tax lot ID #17-12-32AC-00200, more
particularly described in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, be
designated as a County Park for public purposes, pursuant to ORS 275.320.
Section 2. That said real property be retained in public ownership and managed to the
extent feasible for the enhancement of public access and recreation.

a corporation as disclosed by instrument recorded 6/19/1958 in Book 119
Page 316 Deed Records. 3) Easement including the terms and provisions thereof
for sewer facilities, granted to the City of Bend, an Oregon Municipal Corp-
oration, as disclosed by instrument recorded 8/24/1978 in Book 281,Pg. 402.
4) Easement 10 feet wide for sewer purposes, including the terms and provisions
