V I r 97-37273 LEG COUNSEL BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON An Order Designating Certain Real Property as a County Park to be Used Exclusively for Public Purposes. ORDER NO. 97-151 WHEREAS, Deschutes County has acquired property located near the Smith Rock State Park identified as 9980 NE Crooked River Drive, Terrebonne, Oregon; and WHEREAS, Deschutes County desires to maintain this property for public park purposes; and WHEREAS, ORS 275.320 provides that Deschutes County may designate County owned lands as public parks; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that the preservation and protection of certain County owned real properties for public access and recreation is in the public interest; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ORDERS as follows: Section 1. That certain real property described as tax lot ID #14-13-11 D-01000, more particularly described in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, be designated as a County Park for public purposes, pursuant to ORS 275.320. Section 2. That said real property be retained in public ownership and managed to the extent feasible for the enhancement of public access and recreation. DATED this 8 day of 1997.
