In the Board's judgment, to protect the safety of the public; and WHEREAS, this action is based upon an engineering and traffic investigation; and WHEREAS, Reed Road lies outside the corporate limits of any city; and WHEREAS, it appears that a safety necessity exists on Reed Road; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON as follows: Section 1. The designated speed of 45 m.p.h. be assigned to the following section of all of Reed Road between 1St Street and Darlene Road. Section 2. That the County Road official erect appropriate signing according to MUTCD (Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices) requirements giving notice of the restriction. Section 3.
