1998-16639-Order No. 98-064 Recorded 4/23/19981, v "_ 'Iwo 0167-1348 REVIEWED 98-16639 E—LIEGtVCOUNSFL BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON An Order Establishing a Designated Speed of 35 m.p.h.98 APR 23 AN 10: 54 on a portion of Apache Road from Baker Road to Lakeview Drive in Deschutes River Woods Subdivision, ' IARY SUE F Nu0LL01;d south of Bend, Oregon, Deschutes County, Oregon COUNTY CLERK ORDER NO. 98-064 WHEREAS, pursuant to ORS 810.180 paragraph (8), Section(a), the Board of County Commissioners as a road authority have been delegated authority by the Oregon Department of Transportation designate reasonable and safe speeds on low volume or not hard surfaced County roads. In the Board's judgment, to protect the safety of the public; and WHEREAS, this action is based upon an engineering and traffic investigation; and WHEREAS, Apache Road lies outside the corporate limits of any city; and WHEREAS, it appears that a safety necessity exists on Apache Road from Baker Road to Lakeview Drive; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON as follows: Section 1. The designated speed of 35 m.p.h. be assigned to the following section of Apache Road from Baker Road to Lakeview Drive. Section 2. That the County Road official erect appropriate signing according to MUTCD (Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices) requirements giving notice of the restriction. Section 3. That any previous order with respect to the designated speed for the above road which Is In conflict with the provisions of this order is hereby rescinded. DATED this A_ day of , 1998.
