WHEREAS, a certain structure described as a 1,353 square foot, two-story 15WIdif

located at 221 NW Kansas Avenue, Bend, Deschutes County, Oregon, owned by the Bend Library County
Service District is no longer needed by the District; and
WHEREAS, the Board finds that the structure has been severed from the realty and has no value;
and the Board finds it to be in the public interest to transfer said structure to a non-profit entity engaged in
the provision of affordable housing; now, therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BEND LIBRARY BOARD OF BEND, DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the structure described as a 1,353 square foot, two-story building severed from
the real property known as 221 NW Kansas Avenue, Bend, Oregon, severed from the realty, is declared to
be surplus property of Deschutes County.
Section 2. That the structure declared surplus herein be transferred by the District to Cascade
Community Development, an Oregon non-profit corporation, engaged in the provision of affordable
housing, a public purpose.
