WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that Deschutes County may transfer its interest in
surplus real property to another governmental body by proper resolution and hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Terrebonne Domestic Water District has requested that the County
transfer to it the County's interest in certain surplus real property without consideration; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that the Terrebonne Domestic
Water District is a district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon, and will use said
real property for public purposes; and
WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that said transfer shall only be made upon notice
and after hearing; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That Deschutes County intends to transfer the following interests in real
property generally described herein as:
Blocks Seven (7) through Twelve (12), and Blocks Twenty-five (25) through
Thirty (30), Hillman (Terrebonne), Deschutes County, Oregon;
TOGETHER WITH the vacated streets therein; EXCEPTING however that
tract of land heretofore platted as John O. Forester's and M. Pauline Forester's
replat of a portion of Blocks Seven (7), Eight (8), Eleven (11), Twelve (12),
Twenty-five (25), Twenty-six (26), Twenty-nine (29) and Thirty (30), of the
original plat of HILLMAN; and FURTHER EXCEPTING therefrom and
reserving unto Grantors a parcel of land measuring one hundred feet (100) East
and West and three hundred feet (300) North and South in the exact Northwest
corner of the above described tract.

Section 2. That a hearing for the purpose of receiving objections to the above transfer
will be held at 10:00 a.m. on June 3, 1998, in Hearings Room "A" of the Deschutes County
Juvenile Justice Building, 1128 N.W. Harriman, Bend, Oregon.
Section 3. That the Clerk of the County Court shall give notice of the time and place
for the hearing set in Section 2 of this resolution by publication of the notice marked Exhibit
"A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in "The Bulletin" once each
week for two consecutive weeks prior to the date of such hearing.

PUBLIC NOTICE
On Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at 10:00 a.m. in Hearings Room "A," of the Deschutes County
Juvenile Justice Building, 1128 N.W. Harriman, Bend, Oregon, the Board of County
Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, will hold a hearing on a transfer of its interest
in real property from Deschutes County to Terrebonne Domestic Water District. The interest
in real property to be transferred by Deschutes County is generally described as follows:
Blocks Seven (7) through Twelve (12), and Blocks Twenty-five (25) through
Thirty (30), Hillman (Terrebonne), Deschutes County, Oregon;
TOGETHER WITH the vacated streets therein; EXCEPTING however that
