Chair Nancy Pope Schlangen called the Board of County Commissioners
meeting to order at 10:05 a.m. County Commissioners present were
Nancy Pope Schlangen, Robert L. Nipper, and Linda L. Swearingen.
Also in attendance were Mike Maier, County Administrator; Tom
Blust, Road Department Director; Kevin Harrison, Planner; George
Read, Community Development Director; Bruce White, Assistant County
Counsel; Dave Leslie, Planner; Meaghan Houska, Communications
Director; Frank Moore, Human Services Director; Patti Mecca,
Property Management; and Jay Turley, Property/Facilities Manager.

payable vouchers for 4-H/Extension County Service District in
the amount of $13,655.81

SIGNATURE OF REGIONAL PLANNING GROUPS LETTER TO THE GOVERNOR'S
OFFICE
Robert Raimondi requested the Board sign the letter to the
Governor's office for application as a pilot project under the
New Directions in Economic and Community Development. This
reserves a place at the table in the Community Development
office that says Central Oregon, as a tri -county area, would
like to be considered for a pilot region.

PUBLIC HEARING ON ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO 98-019, AMENDMENTS
TO TITLE 22, DEVELOPMENT PROCEDURES ORDINANCE
Before the Board was a public hearing on the adoption of
Ordinance No. 98-019, amendments to Title 22, Development
Procedures Ordinance.
Dave Leslie reviewed the changes to the procedures ordinance
with the Board.
Chair Schlangen opened the public hearing. There being no
testimony, the public hearing was closed.
