In the Board's judgment, to protect the safety of the public; and WHEREAS, this action is based upon an engineering and traffic investigation; and WHEREAS, Dyke Road lies outside the corporate limits of any city; and WHEREAS, it appears that a safety necessity exists on Dyke Road; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON as follows: Section 1. The designated speed of 35 m.p.h. be assigned to all of Dyke Road from Meadow Lane to Howard Lane. Section 2. That the County Road official erect appropriate signing according to MUTCD (Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices) requirements giving notice of the restriction. Section 3. That any previous order with respect to the designated speed for the above road which is in conflict with the provisions of this order is hereby rescinded. DATED this q day of 1998.
