The Resolution of the La Pine Special Sewer District declaring its intent to annex territory as described in Exhibit A is hereby accepted. Section 2. The boundaries of the proposed annexation are set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 3. A public hearing regarding the proposed annexation shall be held on Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at 10 a.m. Notice of said hearing, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit B and by this reference incorporated herein, shall be published and posted in accordance with ORS 198.730. A T: Recording Secretary BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR PAGE 1 - ORDER NO. 99-034 (2-10-1999) EXHIBIT A PROPERTY DESCRIPTION FOR ANNEXATION PROPERTY TO THE LAPINE SPECIAL SEWER DISTRICT A parcel of land located adjacent to the existing Lapine Special Sewer District boundary in Section 14, Township 22 South, Range 10 East, of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest section corner of said Section 14; thence East 2640 feet more or less along the section line to the South one-quarter corner of said Section 14; thence North 1320 feet more or less along the center section line to the Center South one -sixteenth corner; thence East 1320 feet more or less to the Southeast one -sixteenth corner; thence North 2640 feet more or less along the East one -sixteenth line to the Northeast one -sixteenth corner; thence West 1320 feet more or less along the North line of the Southwest one-quarter of the Northeast one-quarter to the Center North one -sixteenth corner and the Easterly boundary of the existing Lapine Special Sewer District Boundary; thence South following the sewer district boundary and Hinkle Road 187 feet to Foss Road; thence West following the sewer district boundary 652 feet more or less to Evans Road; thence South along the sewer district boundary 1337 feet to Finley Butte Road; thence West along the sewer district boundary 970 feet to Bonnie Road; thence South 00°21'47" West 1324 feet along the sewer district boundary to the North line of the Southwest one-quarter of the Southwest one-quarter; thence West 976.1 feet along said North line to the South one -sixteenth corner; thence South 1320 feet more or less along the section line to the Southwest corner of Section 14 and the point of beginning. b EXHIBIT B NOTICE OF FIRST PUBLIC HEARING BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON A public hearing regarding the proposed annexation of territory into the LaPine Special Sewer District will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at 10 a.m. in the Board of County Commissioners' Hearing Room 11.30 NW Harriman Street, Bend, Oregon. The boundaries of the proposed district are as specified in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. The proposed annexation shall be referred to as the "LaPine Special Sewer District Annexation." The purpose of the proposed annexation is to provide sewer services for the inhabitants of the proposed area to be annexed. All interested persons may appear and be heard. The meeting location is wheelchair accessible. For the deaf or hard of hearing, an interpreter or assistive listening system will be provided with 48 hours notice.
