WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 provides that the Board of County Commissioners shall declare
its intention to exchange an interest in real property by proper resolution; and
WHEREAS, a hearing shall be held for the purpose of receiving objections to the proposed
exchange of contingent future interests in real property; and
WHEREAS, Deschutes County and Bend Metropolitan Park and Recreation District
intend to conduct an exchange of future contingent interests; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section L' That Deschutes County intends to transfer and release to Bend Metropolitan
Park and Recreation District a reversionary interest it holds on property situated in Deschutes
County, State of Oregon, generally described as:
Parcel 1
The Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SEI/4 NW1/4), and the Southwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (SWI/4 NEIA), Section 30, Township Sixteen (16)
South, Range Eleven (11) East of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon.
Parcel 2
That portion of the Southwest Quarter (SWI/4), Section Twelve (12), Township
Eighteen (18) South, Range Eleven (11) East of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes
County, Oregon, lying Northerly of Cascade Lakes Highway. EXCEPTING
THEREFROM: That portion within Campbell Road, Lundgren Road and the parcel of
real property described in Volume 249, Page 330, Deschutes County Deed Records,
containing 130.31 acres, more or less.

Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon:
Section 4. The Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SWI/4 SWI/4), the
Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (NW 1 /4 SWI/4), and the Southwest Quarter
of the Northwest Quarter (S W 1 /4 NW 1 /4) bounded on the north by south right of way
boundary of Oregon State Highway 20, and on the east by the canal ditch which
corresponds to west line of Tax Lot 801 (6.99 acres) and the west and south property
lines of Tax Lot 802 (4.51 acres), totaling 93.64 acres, more or less.
Section 5. The East Half of the Southeast Quarter (E1/2 SEI/4), the Southeast Quarter

of way of Oregon State Highway 20, totaling 116.87 acres, more or less.
As consideration for said transfer, the Bend Metropolitan Park and Recreation District intends
to grant to Deschutes County a reversionary interest on the real property situated in the City of
Bend, Deschutes County, State of Oregon, generally described as:

A parcel of land containing 32.05 acres, more or less, located in a portion of the
Southeast One -Quarter of Section 6, and the Southwest One -Quarter of Section 5,
both of Township 18 South, Range 12 East, Willamette Meridian, City of Bend,
Deschutes County, Oregon, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest One -Sixteenth corner of said Section 5; thence
along the north line of the Southwest One -Quarter of the Southwest One -
Quarter (SWI/4 SWIA) of said Section 6 South 89°43'13" West, 1331.92 feet
to the South One -Sixteenth corner common to Section 5 and 6 of said
Township and Range; thence along the north line of the Southeast One -

Section 2. A hearing for the purpose of receiving objections to the above exchange
of contingent future interests will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 1999, in
the Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room of the Deschutes County
Administration Building, 1130 NW Harriman, Bend, Oregon.
Section 3. That the Clerk of the County Court shall give notice of the time and
place for the hearing set in Section 2 of this Resolution by publication of the notice marked

Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in "The Bulletin"
once each week for four consecutive weeks prior to the date of such hearing.

On Wednesday, Wednesday, March 24, 1999, in the Board of County Commissioners
Hearing Room of the Deschutes County Administration Building, 1130 NW Harriman,
Bend, Oregon, the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, will
hold a hearing on an exchange of contingent future interests in real property between
Deschutes County and Bend Metropolitan Park and Recreation District.
Deschutes County intends to transfer and release to the Bend Metropolitan Park and
Recreation District a reversionary interest it holds on real property, generally described as:
