Re: Supplemental Budget
Marts,
We have experienced a significant amount of unanticipated revenues this fiscal year due to
the rapid growth in the County. As discussed with, the Board and the Budget Committee, we
would like to establish an Environmental Remediation Fund and transfer some of our excess
revenues into this fiend in the 98-99 budget year.
I would like to requcst a supplemental budget for the 08 Fund reflecting the following
adjustments:
Increase Revenue by $250,000
• Line R261 increase from $1,050,000 to $1,170,000 (+$120,000)
• Line R262 increase from $2,300,000 to $2,430,000 (+$130,000)
Increase Mise. Transfers by &5Q,000 (to go to Environmental Remediation Fund)
• Line 4730 increase from $0 to $250,000 (+$250;000)
The Board would like to see a total of $350,000 transferred to the Environmental
Remediation Fund. I would like to request the following transfer of funds from Materials
and Services to Mise. Transfer in order to bring that transfer to $350,000.
