BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONER OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, �KLUUN COt)NS'EL
WHEREAS, the County has determined that a need exists to strengthen the safety, aesthetic and
environmental value of the transportation system in Terrebonne, Oregon; and
WHEREAS, a federally funded program known as the "Statewide Transportation Enhancement
Program" exists for carrying out such improvement projects; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That it is the intent of the Board of County Commissioners to make an application, through
the "Statewide Transportation Enhancement Program", for federal funding to improve Highway 97 in
Terrebonne, Oregon.
Section 2. That the Road Department Director shall file the application, referenced in Section 1 above,
with the appropriate section of the Oregon Department of Transportation.
Section 3. That the Road Department shall, subject to appropriation of sufficient funding, commit road
funds to pay the 10.27% required match for Federal Funds.
