Swearingen, Tom DeWolf and Dennis R. Luke. Also present were Mike Maier, County Administrator; Tom Blust and George Kolb, Road Department; Roland Gangstee, Adult Community Justice; Mark Amberg, Legal Counsel; Pete Wanless, Sheriffs Office; Susan Mayea, Management Analyst; Kathy Drew, Human Services; and Muriel DeLaVergne-Brown, Health Department. Also in attendance were Dave Peterson, Information Services; Steve Jorgensen and Barbara Rich, Community Development; Susie Penhollow, County Clerk; Roger Everett, Community Development; Rick Isham, Legal Counsel; and Dan Horton and James Savin, Citizens. 1. Discussion of an Intergovernmental Agreement with Lane County Regarding Reallocation of Developmental Disabilities Grant Funds. Before the Board was consideration of an Intergovernmental Agreement with Lane County Regarding Reallocation of Developmental Disabilities Grant Funds. Mark Amberg stated he received an e-mail this morning from Lane County Counsel, and indicated there are a couple of minor changes proposed in the Intergovernmental Agreement. One of the proposed changes is specifying when the payments would be made. Also, an indemnity provision has been included stating that if Lane County does something that gets Deschutes County sued, they will indemnify us; Lane County wants a reciprocal provision. SWEARINGEN: Would you like us to approve this today, subject to legal review? MARK AMBERG: I think that would be appropriate at this point. TOM DE WOLF: So moved. LINDA SWEARINGEN: I second. Before the Board was consideration of Ordinances No. 99-016, 99-017 and 99-025, relating to the implementation of the La Pine/Wickup Junction Local Street, Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. Steve Jorgensen presented maps and discussed the Ordinances. Commissioner Swearingen asked if citizen comments had been reviewed and answered; Steve Jorgensen stated that no further comments have been received. SWEARINGEN: Conducted the first reading of Ordinances No. 99-016, 99-017 and 99-025.
