to Deschutes Public Library Distri
to be Used Exclusively for Public
Pursuant to ORS 271.330.
WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that Deschutes County may transfer its interest in
surplus real property to another governmental body by proper resolution and without hearing
if the real property was not acquired by the County through tax foreclosure proceedings; and
WHEREAS, the Deschutes Public Library District has requested that the County
transfer to it the County's interest in certain real property without consideration; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that the Deschutes Public
Library District is a special district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon, and will
use said real property for public purposes; and
WHEREAS, ORS 271.330(5) provides that the County may waive its right to retain a
reversionary interest in the property; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That Deschutes County transfer the following interests in real property
generally described herein as:
Parcel 1: Lots Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18) of Block Thirty-one (31), Plat of LaPine,
Deschutes County, Oregon.
Parcel 2: Parcel One (1) of Partition Plat 1995-51, a parcel of land located in Block Twenty-
eight (28) of TOWNSITE of REDMOND, Deschutes County, Oregon.
Parcel 3: Lots Six (6), Seven (7) and Eight (8) in Block Six (6) of BEND, Deschutes County,
Oregon,

To the Deschutes Public Library District by Bargain and Sale Deed without the retention of
reversionary interest.
