In the Board's judgment, to protect the safety of the public; and WHEREAS, this action is based upon an engineering and traffic investigation; and WHEREAS, Sunrise Boulevard lies outside the corporate limits of any city; and WHEREAS, it appears that a safety necessity exists on Sunrise Boulevard from Burgess Road to Day Road; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON as follows: Section 1. The designated speed of 30 m.p.h. be assigned to the following section of Sunrise Boulevard from Burgess Road to Alps Court. Section 2. The designated speed of 35 m.p.h. be assigned to the following section of Sunrise Boulevard from Alps Court to Day Road. Section 3. That the County Road official erect appropriate signing according to MUTCD (Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices) requirements giving notice of the restriction. Section 4. That any previous order with respect to the designated speed for the above road which is in conflict with the provisions of this order is hereby rescinded.
