N— /,� 13 WHEREAS, the Sisters -Camp Sherman Rural Fire Protection District (the District), a rural fire protection district organized under ORS Chapter 478, has determined that it is advisable to annex certain properties into the boundaries of the District; and WHEREAS, ORS 198.850(2) authorizes the District to initiate annexation proceedings by resolution of the District board of directors; and WHEREAS, pursuant to ORS 198.725, as between Jefferson and Deschutes County, Deschutes County is the principal county within which the District is located; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE SISTERS -CAMP SHERMAN RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, as follows: Section 1. The boundaries of the proposed annexation are as specified in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. The purpose of the proposed annexation is to provide fire protection services for the inhabitants of the proposed area to be annexed. All interested persons may appear and be heard.
