Also present were Bruce White, Deputy County Counsel; and Mike Maier, County Administrator. No members of the public chose to attend. Bruce White explained that the purpose of the meeting is to obtain the signature of the Chair on explanatory statements on seven separate measures going to ballot on March 13, 200. This is in regard to withdrawals from Special Road District No. 1. A motion to approve each one will be required. The first paragraph of each is almost identical to the notice of measure elections approved by the Board of Commissioners scheduled for March 14, 2000; the third paragraph talks about the process previously gone through. 1. What is needed is a motion to approve Chair signature of the Explanatory Statement for Measure No. 9-76 concerning the withdrawal of territory from Special Road District No. 1. LUKE: So moved.
