MARY SU N�i0LL0W COUNTY CLERK ORDER NO. 2000-024 WHEREAS, a petition requesting annexation of certain territory into the Rural Fire Protection District No. 2 has been duly filed with the County, a copy of which petition is attached hereto as Exhibit A and by this reference incorporated herein; and WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Clerk's Office has verified that a sufficient number of electors have signed the petition and it has otherwise been determined that the petition is sufficient for purposes of filing and acceptance; and WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Assessor's Office has verified that the annexation petition was signed by 100 percent of the real property owners within the area to be annexed; and WHEREAS, a public hearing is required to consider the petition and notice of that hearing must be provided in accordance with ORS 198.800; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ORDERS as follows: Section 1. District No. 2 will be held on Wednesday, February 23, at 10 a.m. in the Board of County Commissioners' Hearing Room, Administration Building, 1.130 NW Harriman Street, Bend, Oregon.
