RESOLUTION NO. 2000-022 REVIEWED IS Ww COUNSEL "MAR 24 AM 8: 03 MARY SUF F,,- E OLLOw COUNTY CLERK WHEREAS, under Resolution 97-067, the Board imposed assessments for local improvements on benefited properties, with an interest rate of nine percent; and WHEREAS, as of February 23, 2000, the County secured permanent financing for those assessments with a lower interest rate than the nine percent charged under Resolution 97-067, which allows the County to reduce the interest rate that was set at the time the assessments were imposed; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend Resolution 97-067 to effect the change in interest rates and to allow the new interest rate to become of record in the Deschutes County deed records; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That, effective as of February 23, 2000, Section 5 of Resolution 97-067 is hereby amended to change the interest rate charged on outstanding Agate LID assessment balances from 9 percent to 7 percent. Section 2. That Finance Director Marty Wynne and/or his delegates are hereby authorized and ordered to create, sign and record such documents as are necessary to make this interest rate change become of record in the Deschutes County real property records as to the benefitted lots with outstanding LID assessment balances.
