My4,&)WWr#ON COIJ�JY Cl_ERK An Order Approving the Annexation of Territory (Crown Pacific Annexation) into the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District. ORDER NO. 2000-044 WHEREAS, a petition requesting annexation of territory into the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District was duly filed with the Board of County Commissioners; and WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Assessor's Office has verified that the annexation petition was signed by 100 percent of the real property owners within the area to be annexed; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the petition on March 29, 2000, to hear the petition and any objections thereto, and to determine whether, in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan, applicable Land Conservation and Development Goals and the criteria prescribed by ORS 199.462 and 198.805, the affected area would be benefited by annexation of said territory into the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District; and WHEREAS, after consideration of economic, demographic and sociological trends and projections pertinent to the proposal, past and prospective physical developments of the land that would directly or indirectly be affected by the proposal, and all other matters considered to be relevant to the petition, the Board is of the opinion that the area would be benefited by annexation of the said territory to the said district; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ORDERS as follows: Section 1. That the petition for annexation into the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District is approved. Section 2. That the boundaries of the territory annexed to the said district are as set forth in Exhibit I and depicted on the map marked Exhibit 2, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, and shall be known as the "Crown Pacific Annexation." Section 3. That the applicable land use criteria pertinent to the proposed Crown Pacific Annexation, the facts found by the Board and the reasons why the Board believes those facts to bring the proposal within the requirements of the applicable land use criteria are described in Exhibit 3, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 4. That the territory included in the Crown Pacific Annexation is declared to be annexed into the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District as of the date of this Order. That after signature, a copy of this Order shall be forwarded to the Oregon Department of Revenue, Deschutes County Assessor's Office and the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District. Section 6.
