An Order Assigning the Road
Name of Wapiti Way.
ORDER NO. 2000-63
WHEREAS, Deschutes County applied to name an access road pursuant to Deschutes
County's Uniform House Numbering and Road Naming System, Title 16, to assign the name of
Wapiti Way, located in Township 16 South, Range 12 East, W.M., Section 29; and
WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Community Development Department has reviewed
the proposed name and approved it pursuant to Title 16; and
WHEREAS, all public notices required to be given under Title 16 regarding the proposed
name have been given; and
WHEREAS, the appeal period for appealing the Community Development Department's
approval has expired; and
WHEREAS, Title 16 requires that road names be assigned by order of the Board of
County Commissioners; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON,
ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the name of Wapiti Way be assigned, as shown on Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
Section 2. That the Community Development Department take such further steps as
are required to ensure that the road is so identified for all purposes.
