Comprehensive Plan Map, and Declaring an Emergency. * COUNTY CLERK
ORDINANCE NO. 2000-014
WHEREAS, Deschutes County has proceeded to implement solutions identified by the Regional
Problem Solving Project for South Deschutes County; and
WHEREAS, expanding the La Pine Urban Unincorporated Community is one identified solution;
and
WHEREAS, after notice and hearing as required by law, the Board of County Commissioners has
considered the recommendation of the County Planning Commission; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON,
ORDAINS as follows:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. The La Pine Urban Unincorporated Community comprehensive
plan maps in PL -20, the Deschutes County Comprehensive Plan, is amended as shown in Exhibit "A,"
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2. FINDINGS. The Board adopts the La Pine Urban Unincorporated Community
section of the comprehensive plan, attached as Exhibit `B" to Ordinance 2000-013 and incorporated
herein by this reference, and the Deschutes County Regional Problem Solving Findings for Expansion of
the La Pine Unincorporated Community Boundary, attached as Exhibit "C" to Ordinance 2000-013 and
incorporated herein by this reference, as its findings to support this Ordinance.
Section 3. EMERGENCY. This Ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this Ordinance takes effect on
