RESOLUTION NO. 2000-071
WHEREAS, Deschutes County Victim's Assistance Program has a need for an ATM
Imprest Account for handling emergency services and materials.
WHEREAS, ORS 294.465 provides that imprest cash accounts for handling minor
disbursements must be established by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That an ATM Imprest account for the handling of minor disbursements
relating to emergency services or materials be established for Deschutes County District
Attorney's Victims' Assistance Program.
Section 2. That $300.00 is the maximum amount authorized under this Resolution to be
in this ATM Imprest account. Disbursements from the ATM Imprest account will be made by
ATM withdrawals.
Section 3. That the object and purpose of the account is to pay minor disbursements
relating to emergency services or materials activities.
Section 4. Depletions from the account may be replenished from Deschutes County
General Fund.
Section 5. Expenditure of funds out of the ATM Imprest account shall be supported by a
completed "Victims' Assistance Emergency Fund Reimbursement Approval Form" and must be
supported with qualifying documentation and must be received by the Finance Department the
business day following the disbursement of any of the emergency funds. An accounting of all
such expenditures shall be maintained with the account records.

Section 6. The Finance Department will be responsible for the reconciliation of the
account in accordance with its policies and procedures.
