In the summer of 1998, the City of Redmond and Deschutes County entered into an
Urban Area Growth Boundary Management Agreement. Part of that Agreement was for
the City to request transfer of road jurisdiction when areas were annexed.
Attached are copies of Resolutions #2002-56 and #2002-59 which were approved by
the Redmond City Council on November 26, 2002 requesting that Deschutes County
surrender jurisdiction of certain rights-of-way to the City of Redmond in conjunction with
these annexations. The right-of-way descriptions can be found on Exhibit A of the
Resolutions.
