What we need to do next is an appropriation transfer resolution transferring an amount (probably $89,250) from Fund 440 contingency to Fund 440 Transfer Out line item. Then, we can proceed with transferring the balance of the $123,192 and if and when any additional property is sold in FY 02-03 we can transfer up to the original identified amount - the $648,000. I will take the next step in preparing the resolution for the appropriation transfer in Fund 440 Jeanine -----Original Message ----- From: Tom Anderson Sent: Wednesday, December 04, 2002 4:29 PM To: Jeanine Faria; Tammy Credicott Subject: RE: Dry Canyon -New Neighborhood The budgeted amount is incorrect. It should be $206,675. 1 thought more was going to come in before the end of the fiscal year when I prepared the budget last spring. What do we need to do to transfer the full $123,192 now, and an additional $83,483 later (if Tammy is able to sell more Fremont Canyon land before the end of the fiscal year)? -----Original Message ----- From: Jeanine Faria Sent: Wednesday, December 04, 2002 4:22 PM To: Tom Anderson; Tammy Credicott Subject: Dry Canyon -New Neighborhood Tom and Tammy: Attached is a file recapping the budgeted amounts and the actual amounts received and transferred from the sale of Dry Canyon properties to the New Neighborhood. Seems to me there may be a problem with the amount budgeted in FY 02-03. If the original intent was to transfer a total of $648,000 when the funds, through the sale of property became available, then the amount budgeted is not sufficient to make this happen. Last month proceeds in the amount of $123,192 were received. We are currently preparing the "Cash Order", which needs to be submitted to the BOCC for approval, and have included the amount to be transferred from Project Development Fund (Fund 440) to New Neighborhood (Fund 411) in the amount of the budgeted transfer - $117,425. Please advise. Jeanine << File: Dry Canyon -New Neigh borhood.xls >>
