RE: Change funds
Here is the info you requested Marty, let me know if you need anything else.
OHP2 begins on Feb 1, 2003. This plan supersedes the Oregon Health Plan with the intent to expand coverage to a
larger part of the population while at the same time changing benefits and lowering the capitation payments to
providers. Providers such as DCMH are theoretically supposed to compensate for the lost capitation by charging co-
payments to OHP2 participants.
As part of the implementation of OHP2, Beginning on Feb 1, Mental Health will begin taking co -payments from our
OHP clients, either $3 or $5 depending on the class, this means we will be receiving small sums of cash or checks at
4 locations in addition to our main clinic.
These 4 locations include the following: 1)Community Support Services at 1128 NW Harriman, 2)LaPine office at
16440 Finnley Butte Road, 3)Redmond office at 736 South 7th Street, 4)Becky Johnson Center at 412 SW 8th Street
Thanks Marty

Greg,
For the record, could you please send another email with specific descriptions of the locations and what has caused
the need for these funds. We will attach your email to the resolution that goes to the Board of Commissioners (so you
should show copy to Gary Smith). Thanks.
