BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON
An Order changing the name of
Mountain View to Mountain View Loop.
ORDER NO. 2003-041
WHEREAS, Deschutes County applied to change a road name pursuant to Deschutes County's
Code, Title 16, Uniform House Numbering and Road Naming System, to change the name of Mountain
View to Mountain View Loop, located in Township 15 South, Range 9 East, Section 1 W.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Community Development Department has reviewed the
proposed name and approved it pursuant to DCC Chapter 16.16; and
WHEREAS, all public notices required to be given under DCC 16.16.030(B)(6) regarding the
proposed name have been given; and
WHEREAS, the appeal period for appealing the Community Development Department's approval
has expired; and
WHEREAS, DCC 16.16.030(1) requires that road names be changed by order of the Board of
County Commissioners; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON,
ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the name of this road known as, Mountain View be changed to Mountain
View Loop as set forth in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Section 2. That the Community Development Department take such further steps as are
required to ensure that the road is so identified for all purposes.
