Forte, will resign from his present position as Justice of the Peace on June 30, 2003, leaving the position unfilled until the Governor appoints a new Justice of the Peace; WHEREAS, the Deschutes County Justice Court needs pro tern justices to serve when Justice Forte resigns, is otherwise unavailable or if Justice Forte has a conflict; WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, finding it appropriate to appoint Charles Fadeley as a Justice of the Peace, Pro Tem of the Deschutes County Justice Court, and to reappoint Gregory P. Colvin as a Justice of the Peace, Pro Tem of Deschutes County Justice Court; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, ORDERS as follows: Section 1. Pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of ORS 51.260, Gregory P. Colvin hereby is appointed to serve as Justice of the Peace Pro Tem of the Deschutes County Justice Court; Section 2. Pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of ORS 51.260, Charles Fadeley hereby is appointed to serve as Justice of the Peace Pro Tem of the Deschutes County Justice Court; and Section 3. Each appointed Justice of the Peace Pro Tem shall only serve as acting Justice of the Peace during a period or periods of absence or incapacity of the elected Justice of the Peace as determined by the elected Justice of the Peace or the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon.
