A Resolution Adopting and Continuing
Fees and Charges for Services and
Providing an Effective Date.
RESOLUTION NO. 2003-082
WHEREAS, various departments of Deschutes County charge fees and charges for services
and permits; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to adopt and amend the fee schedules of the County annually
each July 1 in accordance with Chapter 4.12 of the Deschutes County Code, as amended; and
WHEREAS, various Deschutes County departments have proposed fees and charges for
services and permits; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on June 18, 2003, on
the proposed fees and charges for services and permits and finds that the fees and charges for
services and permits as set forth in Exhibit "A" reflect the actual cost of providing services and
permits; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the fees and charges for services and permits set forth in Exhibit "A,"
attached hereto and, by this reference, incorporated herein, are hereby adopted as the fees and
charges of Deschutes County, Oregon.
Section 2. The fees and charges for services and permits adopted in Section 1 of this
Resolution are effective July 1, 2003.
Section 3. All fees and charges for services and permits in effect prior to July 1, 2003, are
hereby continued or superseded as provided herein.

Policy Regarding Refunds:
75% refund may be made after an application has been received. The 25% withheld covers work associated with the
application, including zoning, septic and plot plan review, file creation and staff assignment. An additional percentage
ill be withheld as each additional phase of the permitting process is completed (i.e. plan review, inspections, staff
report preparation). Refunds must be requested within 180 days of application. In every case, the $35 refund request
processing fee will be charged to cover the cost of refund check processing and issuance.
