Non-Purchase
Mike Maier, Director of Administrative Services, explained
of typewriter
that Circuit Court had been renting a typewriter but
for Circuit
had 'submitted a request-for one at the last budget
Court
hearing. However, they had met with Betsy Belshaw,
State Court Administrator, who stated that they may
have an extra word processing unit that this office
could have, making the typewriter purchase unnecessary,
so at that time it was decided not to purchase the
machine. Recently, Judge Copenhaver ordered a typewriter,
but at this time, Mr. Maier did not want to purchase
one since they have not heard from Ms. Belshaw that
they word processor will not be available. He suggested
that instead of buying a brand new machine, they give
them a working typewriter already in the county. After
some further discussion in was decided to contact Ms.
Belshaw to see if they will be given a word processor,
and if not we will supply them with a used typewriter.
