He feels that this is the responsibility of the County because they authorized the road construction (which hold the water in) and the installation of his drainfield in this place. Mr. Hudson recommended that one not be installed because the water is not on the road and this could be an expensive precedent to set, estimating; the cost at $800 to $1000 plus its maintenance after that. Jay Langley, Sanitarian, stated that it is not uncommon for the excavator to install the drainfield in a place other than is specified on the approved plot plan. Commissioner Tuttle asked if this problem was caused by the terracing Mr. Fountain did on his property. Mr. Fountain responded that it was not. Commissioner Prante suggested sharing the expense of drilling the drain hole. MOTION: TUTTLE moved that they not approve a drill hole at that location. YOUNG: Second.
