WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes
County, Oregon, has held a hearing in accordance with law fixing
the assessments of improvements abutting certain real property in
Brightenwood L.I.D. in Deschutes County, Oregon;
WHEREAS, there were no remonstrances to the proposed assess-
ments relating to said property; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. The assessments for road improvements in
Brightenwood L.I.D. are hereby certified in accordance with
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein.
Section 2. That the rate of interest to be charged on unpaid
assessments for which financing requests are filed with the Board
of County Commissioners, and for assessments for which financing
requests are not filed and remain unpaid more than thirty (30)
days from the date of assessment, shall be twelve per cent (12%)
per annum.
Section 3. That the Director of Public Works shall mail on
or before February 21, 1983, notices of the assessments as fixed
by this Order to owners of the said property with an application
to finance the improvements in not more than 20 semi-annual in-
stallments. The notice of assessment shall substantially comply
with Exhibit "B", attached hereto and by this reference incorpor-
ated herein. The application to finance improvements shall sub-
stantially comply with Exhibit "C", attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated herein.
Section 4. That the Order, excepting Sections 2, 3,
be published in a newspaper of general circulation within
Deschutes County on February 21, 1983, with the following

NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT
The Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County,
Oregon, at its regular meeting on February 9, 1982,
passed Order No. 83-052, assessing the following-
described property for road improvements. Upon fail-
ure of owners to make application to pay the assess-
ments in installments by March 14, 1983, or upon
failure of the owner to pay the assessment in full by
March 23, 1983, interest will commence and run at the
rate of twelve per cent (12%) per year, and the
property assessed will be subject to foreclosure.
Section 5. The County Clerk shall, upon the filing of this
Order, record and index it upon the Lien Docket of Deschutes
County known as Assessment District Liens.

The Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, has passed
Order No. 83-052, certifying the above assessment on the above-described
property on February 16, 1983, for road improvement abutting said property.
Upon failure of the owner of the property assessed to make application to
pay the assessment in installments by March 14, 1983, interest will
commence to run on the assessment at a rate of twelve per cent (12%) per
year, and the property assessed will be subject to foreclosure if the
total amount of the assessment remains unpaid.
If you wish to pay in installments, you must fill out the enclosed appli-
cation listing your name and address, township, range, section and tax lot
number, and the amount of the assessment. The relevant information is at
the top of this letter. You must then sign the application and mail it to

Department, 61150 S. E. 27th, Bend, Oregon 97702, by March 14, 1983. You
will be sent information regarding your payments from the Deschutes County
Treasurer.
If you wish to pay the full amount, you must do so on or before March 23,
1983. Payment is to be made to the Deschutes County Treasurer, Deschutes
County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon 97701.

TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON:
Pursuant to the provisions of the Act of the Legislature of the
State of Oregon, known as the "Bancroft Bonding Act", (ORS 223.205
to 223.300, as amended), applicant makes application to finance
the portion of the cost of the road improvement levied against
applicant's property and being part of the improvement of roads in
unincorporated Deschutes County, Oregon, as the same has been
determined and assessed by the Board of County Commissioners of
Deschutes County, Oregon, and Order No. 83-052, and docketed upon
