Required Findings.
ORDER NO. 82-253
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 82-038 provided for a hearing for the
exchange of property between Deschutes County and Pete Hester and
Jacqueline M. Hester, as tenants by the entirety as to an undivid-
ed four-fifths (4/5) interest, and James L. Duyck and Gloria
Duyck, as tenants by the entirety as to an undivided one-fifth
(1/5) interest; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held on August 11, 1982; and
WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 requires that the Board of County
Commissioners authorize the exchange of lands after hearing by
Order; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the properties described in Section 1 of
Resolution No. 82-038, a copy of which is marked Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, are of
equal value.
Section 2. That the exchange of such property is in the best
interests of the County.
Section 3. That the execution and delivery of the necessary
deeds of conveyance relating to the exchange of property author-
ized by this order shall occur in escrow.

Tenants by the Entirety as to
an Undivided One-Fifth (1/5)
Interest, Setting a Time and
Place for Hearing Objections
Thereto, and Providing Notice.*
RESOLUTION NO. 82-038
WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 provides that the Board of County
Commissioners declare its intention to exchange land with by
proper resolution; and
WHEREAS, a hearing shall be held for the purpose of receiving
objections to the proposed exchange of land; and
WHEREAS Deschutes County intends to exchange land with Pete
Hester and Jacqueline M. Hester, as tenants by the entirety as to
an undivided four-fifths (4/5) interest, and James L. Duyck and
Gloria Duyck, as tenants by the entirety as to an undivided
one-fifth (1/5) interest; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That Deschutes County intends to exchange the
real property described as:
The West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 29,
Township 14 South, Range 12, East Willamette Meridian,
Deschutes County, Oregon.
The land to be exchanged owned by Pete Hester and Jacqueline M.
Hester, as tenants by the entirety as to an undivided four-fifths
(4/5) interest, and James L. Duyck and Gloria Duyck, as tenants by
the entirety as to an undivided one-fifth (1/5) interest is
described as follows:

The East 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 36,
Township 14 South, Range 11, East Willamette Meridian,
Deschutes County, Oregon.
Section 2. A hearing for the purpose of receiving objections
to the above land trade will be held on Wednesday, August 11,
1982, at the Deschutes County Courthouse Annex, Bend, Oregon, at
10:00 a.m..
Section 3. That the Clerk of the County Court shall give
notice of the time and place for the hearing set in Section 2 of
this Resolution by publication of the Notice marked Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in--The-
Bulletin" once each week for four consecutive weeks prior to the"
date of such hearing

On Wednesday, August 11,1982, at 10:00 a.m. in the Deschutes
County Courthouse Annex, Bend, Oregon, the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, will hold a hearing on a land
exchange between Deschutes County, Oregon, and Pete Hester and
Jacqueline M. Hester, as tenants by the entirety as to an undi-
vided four-fifths (4/5) interest, and James L. Duyck and Glo-rta
Duyck, as tenants by the entirety as to an undivided one-fifth
(1/5) interest. The land to be exchanged owned by Deschutes
County is described as follows:
