RESOLUTION NO. 82-055 , 18 19,Q.3 kFS ,SAY PAT,,, CQUNT � Q oK WHEREAS, Deschutes County petitioned the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, to vacate a portion of Couch Market Road, located in Township 16 South, Range 11, East of the Willamette Meridian, Sections 23 and 26, Deschutes County, Oregon; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined it to be in the public interest to consider such vacation; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That it is the intent of the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, to vacate a portion of Couch Market Road described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, because it appears the road is no longer needed for public use, and will not be needed in the future. Section 2. That the County Engineer shall file an Engineer's Report with the Board of Commissioners, describing the ownership and uses of property to be vacated, and whether the vacation would be in the public interest, within fourteen (14) days of the date of this Resolution. BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ATTEST: SUSAN STONEMAN Recording Secretary RESOLUTION NO. 82-055 FORM: DPW - VAC 6 tt - V0 ! 44 PAGE 776 A portion of Couch Market Road as established in 1927, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the aluminum cap marking the East one -sixteenth corner common to Section 23 and Section 26, Township 16 South, Range 11 East, of the Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon; thence, N 00 20' 11" W 28.00 feet to a point on the northerly right-of-way line of said Couch Market Road; thence, N 89° 39' 49" E 117.86 feet along said northerly right-of-way line to the POINT OF BEGINNING;,th&ice, 611.66 feet continuing along said northerly right-of-way line and along the ing a radius of 317.89 feet, the chord of arc of a curve to the left hav which bears N 340 32' 30" E 521.58 feet, to a point on the Westerly right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 20; thence, S 200 34' 48" E 204.32 feet along said westerly right-of-way line to a point on the southerly right-of-way line of said Couch Market Road; thence, 295.37 feet along said southerly right-of-way line and along the arc of a curve right having a radius of 377.89 feet, the chord of which bears S 34° 32' 31" W 287.91 feet, to a point on the northerly right of way line of the relocated Couch Market Road; thence, S'89* 39' 49" W 204.32 feet along said northelry right-of-way line to the point of beginning.
