COUNTY CLER,
WHEREAS, Bend Metro Park and Recreation District has re-
quested that the County transfer to it certain property without
consideration; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having reviewed
the request, and finding that the property is not needed for
public use by County; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners further finding
that Bend Metro Park and Recreation District will continue to use
the property for a public purpose; and
WHEREAS, ORS 271.330 provides that said transfer shall only
be made upon notice and after hearing; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the Board of County Commissioners hereby
declares the intention of transferring the property described in
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein, Bend Metro Park and Recreation District.
Section 2. That a hearing be held on December 29, 1982 to
hear objections to said transfer.
Section 3. That notice of said hearing be published two
consecutive weeks in the "Bulletin" in the form as shown in
Exhibit "B", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated
herein.
