RESOLUTION NO. 82-044
WHEREAS, Deschutes County owns a metal -covered wood building
located approximately 100 feet southeast of the intersection of
Harriman and Lafayette Streets, in Bend, Oregon; and
WHEREAS, the improvement to the property is surplus property
of the County; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to remove the building from other
County real property in order to use the real property for County
purposes; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That a certain metal -covered wood frame building,
known as the "Quonset Hut", located approximately 100 feet south-
east of the intersection of Harriman and Lafayette Streets in
Bend, Oregon, is surplus property and should be disposed of to the
highest bidder at auction.
Section 2. That the Facilities Coordinator be authorized to
sell to the highest and best bidder at auction the improvement
described in Section 1 of this Resolution.
Section 3. That the sale of said metal -covered building
shall be the improvements only, and not include the transfer of
any real property. Said improvements shall be removed from the
real property within 30 days of the sale.
Section 4. That an advertisement be placed in "The
Bulletin", as shown in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, and by this
reference incorporated herein. Said sale shall be on September
22, 1982.
Section 5. That the purchaser shall provide adequate insur-
ance of not less than $500,000.00 combined single limit, naming
County, its officers, agents and employees co-insured. Minimum
bid price shall be $10.00.

NOTICE OF SALE
BUILDING
Deschutes County has declared a wood frame metal building
surplus. Sale will be at auction to highest and best bidder on
September 22, 1982, at 10:00 a.m. at the building. Building is
located approximately 100 feet southeast of the intersection of
Harriman and Lafayette Streets in Bend, Oreon. Building is to be
removed within 30 days. Bidder must be able to procure approved
insurance coverage during demolition of not less than $500,000.00
combined single limit. (Sale does not include real property).
