RESOLUTION NO. 82-040
WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Budget for the Fiscal Year 1982-83
has been submitted to the Board of County Commissioners for
approval in accordance with the operational requirements of the
County's Landfills; and
WHEREAS, an adjustment in fees is necessary to provide
sufficient revenue to fund services for the 1982-83 Fiscal Year;
and
WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Advisory Committee has reviewed the
Budget and fees necessary to operate during the 1982-83 Fiscal
Year; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to have uniform fees among private
commercial and franchise users of County Landfills; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the Board of County Commis-
sioners set the fees to be charged at the County Landfills; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the following fees be established as the
fees to be charged at County Landfills for services as set out
herein:

Section 2. That the fees listed in Section 1 hereof shall be
effective as of August 1, 1982.
Section 3. Any compactor truck or other device delivering
compacted solid waste to County Landfills shall have the volume of
the said truck or device determined by weight of compacted solid
waste carried by said truck or device. A compacted cubic yard of
solid waste shall be defined as an amount of solid waste weighing
530 pounds. All said compacting devices shall have a charge per
truck established by the Director of Public Works.
Section 4. That all previous fees established for County
Landfills are hereby superseded by the fees set forth in this
Order as of the effective date set forth in Section 2 of this
Order.
