WHEREAS, Resolution No. 82-046 provided for a hearing for the
exchange of property between Deschutes County and ; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held on September 29, 1982; and
WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 requires that the Board of County
Commissioners authorize the exchange of lands after hearing by
order; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the properties described in Section 1 of
Resolution No. 82-046, a copy of which is marked Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, are of
equal value.
Section 2. That the exchange of such property is in the best
interests of the County.
Section 3. That the execution and delivery of the necessary
deeds of conveyance relating to the exchange of property author-
ized by this order need not occur in escrow.

A Resolution Declaring the
Intention of Deschutes County
to Make an Exchange of Real
Property with Administrative
School District No. 1,
Setting a Time and Place for
Hearing Objections Thereto,
and Providing Notice.
RESOLUTION NO. 82-046
WHEREAS, ORS 275.100 provides that the Board of County
Commissioners declare its intention to exchange land with Admin-
istrative Scho41 District No. 1-by proper resolution; and
WHEREAS, a hearing shall be held for the purpose of receiving
objections to the proposed exchange of land; and
WHEREAS Deschutes County intends to exchange land with
Administrative School District No. 1; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That Deschutes County intends to exchange a
reversionary interest in the following described property:
PARCEL 1:
A parcel of land located in the West one-half (W1/2),
Section Fourteen (14), Township Eighteen (18) South,
Range Twelve (12) East, Willamette Meridian, Deschutes
County, Oregon. Being more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Section 14, Town-
ship 18 South, Range 12 East, Willamette Meridian,
Deschutes County, Oregon, thence South 890 35' 44" East,
30.00 feet along the North line of said Section 14;
thence South 00 49' 17" West, 1200.00 feet to the true
point of beginning of this description; thence continu-
ing South 000 49' 17" West, 1466.00 feet to the East-
West Mid-Section line of said Section 14; thence South
000 25' 18" West, 277.00 feet; thence South 890 03' 30"
East, 922.59 feet; thence North 320 25' 54" East, 539.78
feet to the Westerly right-of-way of Arnold Market Road;

Lots One (1) through Eight (8) and that part of vacated
Idaho Avenue accruing to Lots One (1), Seven (7) and
Eight (8), all in Block Twenty-four (24) of PARK

and including the cancellation of that certain Promissory Note of
the Deschutes County Historical Society, a non-profit corporation,
in the amount of FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($50,000.00), payable to
Administrative School District No. 1.
Section 2. A hearing for the purpose of receiving objections
to the above land trade will be held on Wednesday, September 29,
1982, at the Deschutes County Courthouse Annex, Bend, Oregon, at
10:00 a.m..
Section 3. That the Clerk of the County Court shall give
notice of the time and place for the hearing set in Section 2 of
this Resolution by publication of the Notice marked Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, in The
Bulletin once each week for four consecutive weeks prior to the
date of such hearing.

On Wednesday, September 29, 1982, at 10:00 a.m. in the
Deschutes County Courthouse Annex, Bend, Oregon, the Board of
County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, will hold a
hearing on a land exchange between Deschutes County, Oregon, and
Administrative School District No. 1. The land to be exchanged
