Distribute Certain Monies

ORDER NO. 82-249 ~ESCHUTES COUNTY CLERK
WHEREAS, Deschutes County is required by law to engage in the
maintenance and supervision of tax foreclosed lands within
Deschutes County; and
WHEREAS, such revenues accumulated in the Land Sales Fund are
to be used for such activities; and
WHEREAS, any monies not necessary for the supervision and
maintenance of said lands is to be distributed to the taxing
districts in accordance with ORS 275.275; and
WHEREAS, Deschutes County maintains a Land Sales Supervision
and Maintenance Fund, which is utilized for expenditures necessary
to properly manage said lands; now, therefore,
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, ORDERS as follows:
Section 1. That the Deschutes County Treasurer transfer from
the Land Sales Fund to the Land Sales Supervision and Maintenance
Fund the sum of $12,750.00.
Section 2. That the Deschutes County Treasurer distribute
$8,245.66 to the Deschutes County General Fund for expenses
incurred in the supervision and maintenance of lands by the
General Fund for the fiscal year 81-82.
Section 3. That the Deschutes County Treasurer distribute
the remainder of the Land Sales Fund, $74,210.89, to the taxing
districts within the County in accordance with the formula
established by statute.
Section 4. That one per cent of the County's share of the
net distribution as provided in Section 3 above, shall be credited
to the County Museum Fund.
Section 5. That the Deschutes County Treasurer make appro-
priate entries in the records of the Treasurer to reflect the
transfer described in Section 1 of this order, and the distri-
bution as described in Sections 2, 3, and 4 of this Order.
