MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14, 2004
Commissioners' Meeting Room - Administration Building - 1130 NW Harriman St., Bend
Present were Commissioners Michael M. Daly, Dennis R. Luke and Tom De Wolf.
Also present were Mike Maier, County Administrator; and Mark Amberg, Legal
Counsel. No media representatives were in attendance.
This meeting, which began at 9:20 a.m., followed an executive session that had
been called under ORS 192.660(1)(h), Pending or Threatened Litigation; and ORS
192.660(1)(b), a Personnel Issue.
DEWOLF: Regarding the Marchington grievance, move that the decision of
the department head be upheld, and no Step III grievance hearing
is to be conducted.
LUKE: Second.
VOTE: DEWOLF: Yes.
LUKE: Yes.
DALY: Chair votes yes.
DEWOLF: Regarding the Pat Moore case, move approval of the settlement
reached last week, and move that Commissioner Luke be
authorized to sign the settlement documents.
DALY: Second.
VOTE: DEWOLF: Yes.
LUKE: Yes.
DALY: Chair votes yes.

Being no further issues discussed, the meeting adjourned at 9:30 a.m.
